Sketch

Quickly etching on your skin
My brown eyes draw a map
of your rosy cheeks
and the slopes of your face
quickly becoming my favorite place

words carry easy
upon the weight of perfumed air
The past is forgotten
but I am sworn to carry out
a drought my lips have idly wrought
because having you is what they always sought

I give into display
Vain carries the thoughts of may
and spring flowers will learn to bloom
As long as I am promised
to see you soon

Given a riddle
of what unlocks my heart
maybe a spark
be my four leaf clover
im all out of excuses
and ready to dive in
....but could I bring with me
those etchings of your skin?
--------------------------------------------
Reservation crumbles my castle
where I longingly peered out
from my tower of jade
rose colored windows
shatter and bleed
And I am left
with so much to need

Thy kingdom come
I will be scared
Always the martyr
Never been cared
The only diamonds left
to sparkle
are your eyes
glowing with pride
lowering the gates
as I kneel and confide

Iron stone forged from belief
but a shadow of what one man
could once concieve
I submit myself
and come along
before more damage is done
the battle is over
my heart
you have won

Whoa, they were amazing (I'm assuming they were two, not one whole). Teary eyed grins from beginning to end. Wonderful stuff.
